"Besides teaching me to always give my best effort, my Mom encouraged me to help others who are in need," remembers Chris Zorich. "Without her inspiration, love, and support, I would never have had the opportunity to graduate from Notre Dame and become a Chicago Bear."
In her memory, Chris established Zora Zorich Memorial Scholarships at the University of Notre Dame, and Lewis University, to provide financial assistance for Chicago area students.

Chris' personal $50,000 pledge initiated his alma mater's leading scholarship awarded May, 1995. Students with financial need who have been accepted to the University of Notre Dame (South Bend, IN) are eligible to apply. The scholarship provides $20,000 over four years.
Established in 1995, the Lewis/Zorich Executive Club provides scholarship funds to Lewis (Romeoville, IL) student-athletes with financial need, excelling in athletics and community service. Preference is given to students from 1) city of Chicago, 2) Cook County or collar counties: DuPage, Will, Lake, McHenry, Kane; or 3) the State of Illinois
"My Mom's death has not diminished her loving and positive influence on my life", says Chris. "She was, and still remains, my greatest role model."
